Alexander Fine Arts Center

Built on the site of the former athletic field at a cost of $2.8 million dollars, including a gift of $448,000 from the Alexander Foundation, ground for the project was broken on November 10, 1966, and construction began in February, 1967.  The facility was first occupied August 20, 1969 prior to its formal dedication on October 19, 1969. It features facilities for art, music and drama, plus studios, galleries, rehearsal rooms, a music and art library, and faculty offices.
