Each year during Our Years the Lion's Club sponsored the Halloween Queen contest.

Boy Scouts were active throughout our years, often meeting in the basement of the Baptist Church.

This festival along Vermillion Street was popular during Our Years.

A summer baseball program and co-curricular basketball were tops.

The Athens High School Gymnaisum was used for sock hops on Friday and annual proms.

The Community Center was incorporated in 1952 and dissolved in 1995.
